I have been wanting to do a boudoir photoshoot for the past 6-7 years and finally went for it to celebrate turning 40 years young! After searching around for a while, I was very drawn to the images by @boudoir_by_naniu_studio on their Instagram page. I am beyond happy that I went with Naniu Studio! All of my questions were answered ahead of time and I felt prepared for the shoot. Yuma, Kasia and the make-up artist, Erinn, were a great team to work with. They have great chemistry together which makes the experience very comfortable! I felt like everyone put in the time to make sure that I had the best session possible! My photos turned out beautiful and I am so happy to have documentation of the beauty, strength and confidence that I have as a 40 year old woman, wife, momma to 3 boys and art teacher/fitness coach. I am across Boudoir by Naniu Studio on Instagram and automatically loved their work. What I loved the most is that in every picture every woman in a different shape and size looked beautiful, stunning, and confident. I decided to do my bridal boudoir photoshoot with Yuma and Katarzyna, and I’m so happy I did because they both captured such beautiful pictures. They both have an amazing talent not only for capturing gorgeous moments but also for making someone feel beautiful, sexy, confident, empowering, and most importantly comfortable. Where do I even begin with how wonderful it was working with Yuma and Kasia? From the moment I first talked to them on the phone about doing a boudoir shoot, I could feel their energy and passion about what they do. Their portfolio obviously shows that their style of photography and expertise is top notch, and their personalities are just the cherry on top of that. After I got off the phone I thought to myself, “Yep, that’s the couple I want to do this with!”. Zero doubts, I knew I was making the right choice to go with them.
They made me feel so at ease on the day of the shoot, it was like they were familiar friends of mine. Not at all the feeling I would have expected right before posing half nude in front of people I just met, lol. Erin, their makeup artist, was also wonderful and did a beautiful job on my hair and makeup!
Prior to the shoot I put together and shared a Pinterest board of images that I really liked, and a few that I wanted to try and recreate. Yuma and Kasia made sure we got all of the shots I was looking for, and honestly they did them better than the originals I was referencing!
I am not the most experienced when it comes to posing for a camera, and I was SO very thankful for all the direction they were able to give me. I didn’t have to think, just trust and follow what they experts said to do! And man are they experts! They truly take the time and pay attention to all the little details in every shot, making sure everything is just right for the perfect photo.
One thing I loved most about working with them was how they worked together. They really play off of each other in the room, pointing out certain viewpoints or aspects that the other might not have seen right from their perspective. They clearly each have the eye for design and make a fantastic team! Kasia is also the best hype-woman!
These photos made a gift for my husband for our one year anniversary, and they made sure that I had that book on time! The book itself too…oh my gosh, it’s so beautiful! I kept commenting how much I love the weight of it, it’s nice heavy and the pages are really thick. Absolutely gorgeous.
Honestly throughout the whole experience, Kasia and Yuma went above and beyond in all regards. They made this such a fun and empowering experience. Truly the hardest part about this whole process was not gushing to my husband for over a month about how wonderful they are and how excited I was about their work.
Seriously, I cannot recommend them enough. Don’t even think about using anyone else, these two are the best out there! 🙂

I wish I would have known them when I got married or when I gave birth to my children as I would have had them there! I want to take the time to express how absolutely amazing this husband-and-wife team is! They are able to catch you at your most vulnerable moments, while making you feel sexy… Then motivate you to push your limits, while at the same time not overstepping. The atmosphere with these two is so lighthearted and fun.. I can honestly say I did not feel uncomfortable what so ever! I love these two and highly recommend their services to anyone!

Well when I 1st time I saw Portfolio of the pictures. I said I want to have with whem fotoshoot.. I am make up artist. My working experience is 16years. I have worked with other boudoir photographers in the past, but what makes Naniu Studio stand out is that they listened to me. Prior to my session, I discussed some concerns about how I felt about myself and what parts of my body I don’t want showing in images. I have had problems with images that I have had taken that make me feel bad about my size. I never once felt uncomfortable during my session – both Katarzyna and Yuma are professional and they respected my concerns. They will collaborate together to take the most stunning images. The chemistry they have is amazing. Most importantly, there’s not a single image that I do not like from my album, which never happens! Take the chance, you won’t regret it!

While I went in for a Valentine’s day gift for my husband, my boudoir session turned out to be the best thing I could do for me! I am currently at my heaviest weight due to lockdown, but I’m my session and photos, found my beauty is still there! We all have an image in our heads of how we look, and often that image isn’t close to reality. My session gave me confidence and beauty back in my life. After I received my photos, I couldn’t stop looking at them. And my friends who have done this type of photo session we’re in AWE of the incredible photos. Intuitively, it is timely for me to receive it this day. It’s been an emotional week with the transition I was experiencing in life at 39 years young.
I had my boudoir on my bday for my birthday. I originally had it scheduled with another photographer. I was introduced to Naniu’s work a month prior my original plan. When I saw their work and had a brief exchange via email, I just knew I need to work with them instead. I’m so happy I trusted my intuition and with my decision.
I chose their INTIMACY package. The word spoke to me and certainly “intimate” to me. I was then intuitively inspired to pose nude. I didn’t even desire that before. I was not even uncomfortable that Yuma is a male in the room. His authentic love/friendship dynamic with his wife made the experience feel so homey and safe to me. Erin my make up artist was like a cousin. I definitely felt home with them. My sister also came with me and the chemistry of everyone in the room was perfect! I felt so safe in and with the entire experience. Naniu’s crew, personality, energy, sincerity, and integrity is priceless. Resonance is important to me and I think most can relate.
Everybody is not for everyone, but if you desire to feel at home, then Naniu is your BEST option for they carry the energy of home, comfort, and acceptance. I felt safe, celebrated, and welcomed as I am. Which showed in my photo’s. I felt myself, truly “nothing hidden.”I trusted their expertise, but they also honored my desired experience. I wanted to feel my authentic self as top priority. I emailed them the day before and sent images and listed bullets of my vision… ALL was fulfilled!
I am completely satisfied with the images and overall experience. I’m already excited for my 40th bday boudoir. My desire definitely is that I partner with them again to have this fulfilled for 2022. Thank you Yuma, Kasia, and Errin for my birthday gift of experiencing myself on my first Boudoir exploration. Definitely, “wishes fulfilled.”
